MR LUO'S CANOPY FARM

Located in the urban village Yantian in Shenzhen, the Canopy Farm wraps Mr. Luo’s house in fruits and vegetables.
A steel cable trellis rises diagonally from Mr. Luo’s orginal garden and extends over the roof of his two-story house. An existing staircase is extended an additional level to give access to the roof where the Canopy Farm doubles as shading above the building.
A similar shaded condition is created on the ground, making more comfortable a common area in front of the house that acts as a public gathering space and thoroughfare.
